Interested in Amateur Radio? Want to become a ham? Know someone who is interested? The Technician class license is the first of the FCC Amateur Radio licenses.
Our club just sponsored a weekend class - Sunday evening when the class finished everyone in the class passed their license exam.

March 15-17 at the main Vashon fire station conference room (north side of Bank Rd.)

You do NOT need a radio for this class. WAIT until after the course to decide on gear you may want. The FCC does not allow you to talk on the air anyway, until you have the license.
Buy your own textbook and read as much as you can before the course.

Attend all sessions and bring your lunch on Sat/Sun, and plenty of water to get you through the day
Fri evening 1700 - 2100 (5 p.m. - 9 p.m.)
Saturday 0900 - 1800 (9 a.m. to 6 p.m.)
Sunday 0900 until mid-afternoon-ish, then take the test. We should be done no later than 1800
